We have been friends for a long time, with different career paths (that sometimes intersect), but one thing brings us solidly together: food! Yummy baked goods, decadent desserts, good-for-the-soul comfort food with a few healthy options thrown in – we’ve shared them all and now we want to share them with you.
Claire Davies ~ A senior systems analyst, accomplished underwater photographer and world ranked kettlebell lifter, Claire lives in New York City where she has access to the best ingredients and a world of inspiration. She leaves no recipe unchanged, “You know, this would really be good if we made it with…”
Anna DeLoach ~ After a career in mainframe operating systems, Anna co-founded the Cake Shop of San Jose and retired from that in 2007. She now writes the Blennywatcher Blog, a chronicle of her underwater explorations with husband, author Ned DeLoach.
Joanne Kidd ~ Trained in graphic design, Joanne’s foray into the food world includes her design of the Cake Shop website and the layout and design of the Lionfish Cookbook for REEF. These days, she’s really busy with Joanne Kidd Photography, but will pop in from time to time with one of her special dishes.
Gail Wilson ~ A trained chef and cake decorating instructor, in 2001 Gail co-founded the Cake Shop of San Jose in Jacksonville Florida and that’s where you’ll find her, still making beautiful and delicious cakes for all occasions. Gail is the Queen of Buttercream.
